Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Unit Installation and Commissioning - Boree Solar Farm

Venn Energy Pty Ltd is inviting expressions of interest for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) unit installation and commissioning work package associated with the Lambruk Solar Farm. Located approximately 15 km southeast of Tamworth, New South Wales, the Lambruk Solar Farm is a state significant development comprising a 500 MW (DC) solar facility and a BESS with an indicative capacity of up to 300 MW / 1,200 MWh. The project is currently in the environmental assessment phase, with construction expected to span 2-3 years following project approval.

The scope of this work package encompasses the full installation and commissioning requirements for the BESS infrastructure. Venn Energy is actively seeking to identify local capacity and supply chain readiness to support the project's construction and long-term operational needs.

Interested contractors must possess a valid Gateway by ICN company profile to submit an expression of interest. These submissions will be utilized to evaluate technical capabilities and capacity for large-scale renewable energy infrastructure delivery. While the Principal Contractor has not yet been appointed, this registration process is a critical step in facilitating local procurement and regional business participation for the duration of the project's 30-year operational lifespan.
