The Mobile Energy Training Unit (METU) concept is a pilot initiative designed to deliver flexible, high quality energy related training to regional and remote communities across Western Australia. The METU will comprise a truck and dolly trailer fitted with a standalone power system. The Department of Training and Workforce Development, in partnership with South Regional TAFE, is seeking to develop a single pilot vehicle. The procurement includes final design of the METU, integration of components onto the donor chassis, and design and build of the trailer, including its stand-alone power system.
