The T2D Project is seeking organisations interested in the reuse, repurposing or recovery of approximately 6,000 surplus steel drums (200-250L capacity; approximately 17kg each). The drums are already becoming available, with peak volumes expected in the next six months and ongoing availability through to October 2027. The project is prioritising reuse and circular economy outcomes ahead of scrap recycling. Organisations interested in acquiring some or all of the drums are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest.
