The scope is to commission an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) to deliver culturally safe, trauma-informed and Aboriginal-led Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) and Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) throughcare supports for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in custody and transitioning to community. Services will operate across custodial and community settings in Kempsey/Mid North Coast and Wellington/Dubbo, and include AOD counselling, wellbeing support, pre- and post-release planning and coordination, referrals, and cultural healing and connection activities.
