WT25-25/26 Pechey PAC Dosing and WTP Upgrades

Tender Details : Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of a new Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) dosing system. This PAC system is to be installed at the Pechey Water Treatment Plant located on Grapetree Road. The scope of works involved are detailed in this document and consists of a mixture of mechanical, electrical, and control systems integration. The existing PAC dosing system and layout has resulted in issues such as improper powder feed, blockages, inaccurate dosing, and corrosion of the hopper frame. Due to these issues and the age of the unit, Council is looking at replacing this PAC dosing system. To cater for the new PAC dosing system, several Control System upgrades are required to be undertaken. This includes a PLC Platform upgrade and the installation of a new RIO network.
