Tender Details Purpose: Replacement/Construction of Wyndham Street Bridge, Greta. Cessnock City Council (CCC) is proposing to engage an experienced contractor for Construction only Contract to carry out the replacement / construction of Wyndham Street Bridge, Greta within the Cessnock LGA. The primary objective of this project is to replace the existing timber bridge with a modern structure while maintaining its local heritage perspective due to its location in Greta Conservation Area. Any person/company willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract are invited to submit a tender to the Council by the deadline, 2.00 pm on Tuesday 29 September, 2026 by one of the methods detailed in the Conditions of Tendering. A tenderer must not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed. Responsibility for lodgement of completed tender documents by the deadline lies solely with the Tenderer. Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any tender submitted.
