Statewide Waste and Recycling Infrastructure Roadmap

Tender Details : The Queensland government Less Landfill, More Recycling 2035: Queensland Waste Strategy identifies investing in modern infrastructure as a priority. The new Waste Strategy is backed by investment of $487 million over five years through the Waste Reduction and Recycling Activation Fund. However, investment in infrastructure requires not just State government investment, but local, federal and private sector investment as well. A key action of the Waste Strategy is to develop a statewide waste and recycling infrastructure plan that identifies current and future material flows, infrastructure capacity and gaps, facility locations, supply chain options, land use planning considerations and priority investment opportunities. In collaboration with the Department, the supplier will produce two complementary outputs: a Statewide Waste and Recycling Infrastructure Roadmap and a supporting Investment Prospectus.
