Pipe Clay Lagoon and Cremorne Beach Coastal Adaptation Plan

Tender Details : The City of Clarence seeks suitably qualified consultants to prepare a Coastal Adaptation Plan (CAP) for the Cremorne coastal area, encompassing Cremorne Beach and the Cremorne foreshore of Pipe Clay Lagoon. The project will provide a contemporary framework for managing existing and future coastal hazard risks while recognising and protecting the area's environmental, social, cultural, recreational and economic values. The Coastal Adaptation Plan must be prepared in accordance with Council's adopted Coastal Hazards Policy and contemporary best practice coastal adaptation planning principles. The consultant will be required to utilise existing technical assessments and planning work completed for Pipe Clay Lagoon and undertake a contemporary coastal hazard assessment for Cremorne Beach to establish a consistent evidence base across the study area.
