New Reservoir at Bamaga

Tender Details : Northern Peninsular Area Council is looking to expand the amount of storage available at their Bamaga Reservoir site. At present there are 2 x 1.6ML concrete tanks that receive water via the Clear Water Pump Station at our Water Treatment Plant. We would like to increase supply by at least another 1.6ML in size. The top water level would need to be the same as the existing reservoirs. This will be a design/ construct project, with the design needing to be approved by Council before proceeding to the construction phase. We are expecting the design and planning work to happen during the upcoming wet season, with construction starting in May/ June 2027. Level Sensors and Outlet Flow Meter will be provided as part of this contract. Council will ensure these are integrated into our SCADA system.
