The Directorate of Navy of Alcohol and Other Drugs Services (NAODS) within the Navy People Branch is seeking a Registered Training Organisation to deliver bespoke Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs training and support services. This service is required for the Royal Australian Navy Alcohol and Drug Program Advisors Course. Delivery involves blended learning combining distance (virtual) and residential (face-to-face) formats in NSW and VIC. The scope includes incorporating Royal Australian Navy specific modules and maximizing recognition of prior learning or current competency. The contract covers an initial period of four years commencing January 2027, with a single 12-month extension option.

Stated requirements

• The Supplier must be able to provide a blended training delivery of distance (virtual) and residential (face to face) learning.
• The Supplier must be able to accommodate Royal Australian Navy specific modules within the training period.
• The Supplier must have the flexibility to move students between courses as required.
• The Supplier must be able to recognise the training provided by the Royal Australian Navy and provide maximum recognition of prior learning / current competency.

Eligibility

• The Supplier must be a Registered Training Organisation within Australia.
• The Supplier must provide a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs (or Customer accepted equivalent).

  Bridging the gap between research and on farm implementation we aim to use this project to show growers the flexibility, versatility and potential profitability of winter wheats. Facilitating the implementation of seeder width, strip trials of Mowhawk sown next to and at the same time as growers spring wheat cultivar used in their respective programmes. Across 4 farms, with Mowhawk seed provided to fit into the farm programme at two times of sowing, April and May (8 demonstration sites total), to give farmers a practicable example of winter wheat production on their farm and more generally across the L/MRZ of the Esperance Port Zone. Using a combination of rapid social media content and in person extension activities to provide maximum reach and exposure to the trial and its findings. By the conclusion of this project early 2028, we aim to see growers and advisors making educated decisions on the incorporation of winter wheats into their rotations. Creating more diverse, resilient and profitable systems.
