While the existing IT solution supports core waste tracking requirements, the department is seeking opportunities to modernise and enhance this capability to improve industry adoption, data collection, process efficiency, and provide a foundation for future service delivery. To inform this strategic investment path, the department is undertaking a Proof of Concept (PoC) to assess potential delivery approaches in the market.
