CSIRO is seeking tender responses from qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of a new computing platform for scientific workloads, referred to as the CPU Cluster. The system is to be delivered and deployed for CSIRO's High Performance Computing (HPC) facility in Canberra, ACT. The procurement is categorised under computer hardware maintenance and support. The tendered solution must be physically installed, fully operational, and accepted no later than 30 May 2027.

Stated requirements

• Provision of a new computing platform for scientific workloads referred to as the CPU Cluster
• The tendered response must be able to be physically installed, full operational and accepted no later than 30th May 2027
• The Tenderer must comply with all Mandatory Requirements identified in the Attachment A - SOR (Statement of Requirements)
• Compliance with the Commonwealth Australian Industry Participation (CAIP) Policy, including a CAIP plan requirement, if advised by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources

Eligibility

• The Tenderer exists as a legal entity at the RFT Closing Time and Date
• Must not be precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work at the time of lodgement
• Must not be subject to an unpaid judicial decision against them relating to employee entitlements (not including decisions under appeal) at the time of lodgement
• Where the Tenderer is a Relevant Employer, must be compliant with obligations under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth)
• Must hold all Valid and Satisfactory Statements of Tax Record required for its entity type (and for any first-tier subcontractor proposed for contracts valued at $4 million or more GST inclusive)
