Tender Details : Mount Alexander Shire Council (MASC) incurred significant damage to trees during the January 2026 Harcourt and District bushfires with a high number of hazard trees assessed and removed within the initial MASC Disaster Response. A secondary assessment of roadside hazard trees undertaken by MASC in August 2026 identified many of the retained trees impacted by the fire event are dead/unviable/hazardous with appropriate works programmed.
