Tender Details : The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is delivering the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program (BHTSP). The Bruce Highway is a vital 1,673 kilometre north-south corridor in Queensland, connecting Brisbane to Cairns. In January 2025, the Australian and Queensland governments announced a joint funding commitment of $9 billion towards the BHTSP to enhance safety and uplift deficient sections of the highway to achieve a three-star rating. The BHTSP focuses on sections of the Bruce Highway between Gympie and Cairns with a high safety risk. Financial audits to be delivered through the BHTSP will be awarded to prequalified members on the Independent Financial Auditor (IFA) Panel.
